Pricing Structure

• Labor Charge:
  Labor charges are based on the size of the crew and the amount of time required to complete your move. Time begins when our movers arrive at your location and ends when the crew completes the job at your final destination, including travel time between locations.

  • Factors such as elevators, multiple flights of stairs, or long walks from the parking area to your front door may extend the time required.
  • No Hidden Fees: Unlike many competitors, Nova Movers does not charge additional fees for stairs, elevators, or long-distance walks.

• Service Fee:
  A flat service fee is required as a deposit to book your move. This fee includes:

  • Use of a fully equipped moving truck.
  • All necessary protective supplies for your belongings.
  • Travel time for the crew to reach your location.
    There are no separate or hidden fees associated with these inclusions.

Boxes and Packing Materials Delivery

• As a Nova Movers customer, you have access to professional packing materials and a wide selection of boxes at reasonable costs.
• Packing materials are delivered to your home free of charge, and our moving consultants will recommend the appropriate sizes and quantities for your move.
• Each truck is equipped with complimentary green crates, which can be used if you run out of boxes or need additional storage for loose items during your move.

Valuation Coverages

• Released Value Protection (RVP):

  • RVP is included free of charge with all moves and complies with federal and state laws.
  • Coverage is set at 60 cents per pound per article as the standard.

• Enhanced Coverage by Nova Movers:

  • Nova Movers provides additional RVP coverage, reimbursing customers at 85 cents per pound per article for local moves, at no extra cost.
  • Maximum coverage for local moves is capped at $50.00 per article, whichever is less.

• Limitations of RVP:

  • While RVP offers some protection, it does not reflect the full value of your belongings. Customers with high-value items are encouraged to discuss additional coverage options to safeguard their valuables fully.

Additional Notes

• Estimate Accuracy:

  • The estimates provided for labor time and packing materials are based on the information shared by the customer. Any additional items or unforeseen circumstances may affect the total time required for the move.

• Customer Responsibility:

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all items are properly disclosed during the initial consultation to avoid discrepancies.

• Exclusions:

  • Nova Movers is not liable for damages or losses caused by unforeseeable events or circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters or delays due to traffic or weather conditions.
